About Ellsworth AFB
Columbia College-Ellsworth AFB is one of the newest locations in the Columbia College global network of more than 35 locations across the nation. Regionally accredited, the location is established to meet the needs of the military community and personnel at Ellsworth Air Force Base and the surrounding population of the greater Rapid City, SD area.
Columbia College-Ellsworth AFB offers convenient course delivery to all adult learners, utilizing its national network of site locations hosting in-seat classes, robust online program and virtual courses. In addition to the courses and degree programs offered at the Rushmore Education Center, 100% of its programming is offered online, allowing the College to start delivery of the degree programs immediately and students to continue the pursuit of their educational goals uninterrupted. The college offers a unique educational opportunity to working adults through its diverse degree offerings and eight-week course format. Up to 60 hours of transfer credit may be awarded based on an evaluation of military education and training, along with CLEP and DSST examinations at our National Test Center.
